Mostly pavement with a little easy gravel roads mixed in, this would make a great tour of favorite locals roads around North Georgia. Leaves from Hourglass Cycles in Buford but could be altered based on plan. Takes you up the local roads north of the lake to avoid highway then some sweet curvy roads with just a few miles of gravel. Lunch Stop is Jim's smoking' cue, a great local mountain bar-b-que spot. Amount of gravel could easily be altered to fit. This highlights the popular locals roads as well as some "secrets" many don't know about. One short gravel road has a easy creek crossing that could be taken out if needed.... just up the road from the creek is a beautiful waterfall about 100yrds off the road you can walk to. Route ends at TWO wheels of Suches campground... a gorgeous motorcycle-only campground open since the early 70's. It has manicured grounds and a creek runs right through the middle of it. This route takes you through curvy pavement, country 2-lanes, and mountain roads with awesome overlooks.
