Strada dell'Assietta (IT) / Assietta Road (EN) / Assietta-Kammstrasse (DE)

The starting and ending point of this Trip (and for many other trips in this region) is the campground "Camping Gran Bosco" in Salbertrand (I).

After missing the correct junction there is a little detour to bussoleno.
The direct way should be through Meana di Susa to the Colle delle Finestre which is a fantastic small and winding road.
After hitting the Colle delle Finestre the Assietta Road starts. Most of the time, the Assietta is above 2000m and you will have a fantastic sight of the scenery around you.
There's no tarmac at the Assietta, most of the time it's a dirt road with some gravel. In dry conditions, you won't have technical issues driving the road, in rain there could be some mudholes and slippery conditions.
