Privacy policy

1. General Provisions

1.1 This document uses the same terminology and abbreviations as our Terms of Use document. This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use and storage of information obtained from the Users (hereinafter: Information) through the use of our Site and Services.

1.2 The Information on Users is divided into personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable Information depending on whether Information can identify the User as a specific person. Information about legal persons does not fall within the scope of Information as defined in this Privacy Policy document.

1.3 ADVTracks, has a position of a ‘controller’ as defined in EU GDPR and he shall be responsible for, and be able to demonstrate compliance with, the principles relating to processing of personal data. He can be contacted by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

2. Changes to the Privacy Policy

2.1 We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy at any time without prior notification. The current version of Privacy Policy is available on the Site and through the App, indicating the effective date. You are encouraged to periodically check our Privacy Policy.

3.Consent

3.1 By registering on the Site and by clicking the consent checkbox you agree to have your information handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

3.2 You may withdraw your consent by deleting your account or by informing us through e-mail [email protected] in which case your account and all Information will be deleted automatically.

4. Personally Identifiable Information

4.1 We are obtaining some of your personal information in order to provide our Services. The information we collect is necessary to provide our Services, and we shall not collect any information which is not required by the nature of our services. We may collect some of the following Personal Information:

  • First name
  • E-mail address
  • Other information which you volunteer

4.2 We will use aforementioned Information for the following purposes:

  • creating and managing User accounts,
  • providing Services,
  • providing customer support,
  • contact.

4.3 We may keep records of any questions, complaints or compliments made by you and the response if any. Whenever you contact us, we shall collect your e-mail address, name and any other information which you chose to provide. We shall store and use your name, e-mail address and other information you provide only for the purpose of responding to your inquiries and we will remove such Information from our servers as soon as the inquiry is resolved, unless such information is necessary for the purposes listed in article 4.2. Information contained within the inquiry, free from any personally identifiable Information, will be stored on our servers for the purpose of improving our Services and providing the best customer support possible.

4.4 When interacting with the Services through your social medial accounts, you are allowing us to access certain information that is available in your third party service profile. The type and amount of information is dictated by your settings, the permissions given through such third party service provider, and third party’s privacy policy. We do not collect your third party service password. For example, when you access the content through your Facebook account, you will be referred to the Facebook consent dialogue box, after which, if the consent is provided, we will collect your name, e-mail address, and information which is publicly available on your profile.

4.5 We may contact you using the available contact information provided by you, for any matters relating to the services (Service e-mails). These e-mails do not constitute “unsolicited commercial e-mail advertisements” and you are not able to opt-out of receiving them. We may also inform you through e-mails about promotions, offers, events, surveys and everything else in connection with our business, and our affiliates (Promotional e-mails). You can choose not to receive these e-mails by following the opt-out procedure described in the e-mail.

4.6 We do not sell, rent or otherwise make available personal Information to any Third-Party. We use collected Information for our internal and marketing purposes, as necessary by the nature of the Services, and only in accordance with this Privacy Policy. In some instances, we are obliged to comply with court orders and government requests and provide Information or parts of it to authorized bodies.

4.7 We have implemented security procedures and measures in order to ensure appropriate protection of the Information we process, against any misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification. We will remove any Information about you upon your request no later than twenty four (24) hours after the request has been made by deleting your account or by sending an email to [email protected].

4.8 We acknowledge that the safety of your Information is one of the highest priorities and therefore only authorized processors have access to your information. Although we take all appropriate measures in respect to keeping your information secure, you understand that no data security measures in the world can offer 100% protection. If we ever find or suspect a personal data breach we will without delay, within seventy-two (72) hours after becoming aware of it, notify the appropriate supervisory authority and Users about the breach.

4.9 The processing of the information is being performed automatically, without human intervention.

4.10 Users may request access to, modification and erasure of personal Information and the exercise of the right to object. Such requests are submitted to [email protected].

5. Non-Personally Identifiable Information

5.1 We may collect non identifiable information through cookies or Third-Party services. The information we may collect can include browser type, if you arrive at our site via link from Third-Party site, duration of the session etc. We use such information to provide and improve our Services, customize services for you, better understand our Users, diagnose and fix problems, etc. More information about cookies and similar technologies we use can be found in our Cookie Policy.

6. Storage and Transfer of Information

6.1 Information will be stored on secure servers located in Lithuania. We may store or transfer Information to servers located in countries deemed adequate by the European Commission, or in countries which European Commission has not deemed inadequate, provided that such countries implement appropriate and suitable safeguards regarding the security of personal information.

6.2 Information is stored on our servers only for the duration necessary for providing the Services and maintaining the integrity of our databases. We will maintain records of processing activities for the purpose of demonstrating compliance with EU GDPR.

7. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

7.1 Users may without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, lodge a complaint with supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of his or her habitual residence or place of the alleged infringement if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her infringes the GDPR.

8. Third party content and Widgets

8.1 Some content on the Site and App may be provided by the third party providers. When you interact with such content you are also interacting with the content provider. Third party content providers may collect some non identifiable user data in accordance with their terms of use and privacy policies. We are not responsible for such content, nor do we monitor or control content provided by third parties.

8.2 The Site may include social media features in the form of widgets (‘like’, ‘share’, ‘tweet’ buttons and similar) which function like separate programs working within the Site. Your interaction with these widgets is governed by policies of a third-party providing them.

10. Account Deletion

You have the right to remove your account and all the information which is stored with it at any given time. You can do so by selecting “Delete” on your profile page. Alternatively, you can delete your account by e-mailing [email protected]. When you account is deleted, all the personal information and other data linked to it is also deleted.
