Greece: Karpenisi - Fourna - Agrafa

That's a really beautiful route through the dense fir forests of the area. It's more enjoyable on a light enduro bike but it would be possible even on a bigger on-off bike. It can take up to 8 hours of slow pace riding, including the plenty of photos you'll stop to shoot 😉 There are plenty of springs with cool drinking water on the way.

The best season for this route is from May to November. However, during the spring you may find many trees fallen on the tracks. Usually, there is a way to pass them. The rest of the year the high passes are usually full of snow. You need to get up to 1,600 meters (5,249 ft) altitude and it's cool there even in summer.

The views are amazing and Agrafa is a picturesque village to explore! There are many other interesting villages in the area too. There are plenty of amazing places to wild camp in the area and I included some as waypoints.
