Starting and ending at Two Wheels of Suches Motorcycle campground in North Georgia, this is an easy going gravel dual sport route that will make a good morning or afternoon ride. If you leave between 8 and 9am you should be back to the campground in time for lunch and if you leave right after lunch should be back in time for dinner.
This route is mostly gravel and gets just a little more rough on Winding Stair Rd but never gets so bad a normal car / 2wd truck couldn't get through. You will be on gravel within a mile of Two Wheels of Suches and will explore the area in the Chattahoochee National Forest south and west of the campground. If you are newer to Dual Sport riding this is a good, short route to help introduce you and others to Dual Sport riding. It's also very pretty and Winding stair has some decent lookout points. A good go-to for a short relaxing ride through the woods. Enjoy!
