ROAD RIDE 241mi loop to Fontana Dam & Cherohala Skyway

This is another good all day ride with Two Wheels of Suches as the starting and ending point. It's a straight-forward road ride exploring North Georgia and leading you all the way up to Fontana Dam and across the famous Cherohala Skyway, one of the best roads in the Southeast. (if you ask us)
The route takes you right by the beginning of the Tail of the Dragon, but we think the Cherohala is a MUCH better, and under rated road. If you want to run down the Dragon and back go for it, but we prefer the long sweeping corners and lookouts going across the Cherohala. Once you've made it across you'll head south at Tellico Plains on a wonderful stretch of highway and eventually getting back to hwy 60, that will lead you south back to your tent and dinner at Two Wheels of Suches.
