[flag:en] The road to Nordkapp winds along the Arctic Ocean and eventually ascends up the mountains, so beware of extreme weather and gale force winds. Nordkapp itself is just a rock; the cliff views are spectacular, but not exactly exceptional to Norway. [flag:en] Riding above the Arctic Circle in Europe is way more civilized than Alaska; the roads are well paved, there's petrol stations, towns, coffee shops and excellent wi- fi everywhere. It's not much of a challenge and it's doable on any type of bike but it's a lovely ride nonetheless. Be aware of reindeer - they are everywhere, and they ignore you completely.
